Q: How is IP protected during the Challenge?
A: During Phase 1, only the GHIC executive team will see any proposal submissions.  During Phase 2, a mutual NDA and BAA will be required by Navicent Health (link to documents).  IP that has been previously developed by each party shall remain the sole and exclusive property of each party.

Q: Is there funding for the Challenge?
A: Navicent Health is committed to working on a beta test with the Challenge winners. Pending the results from the beta test, there are opportunities to move forward into a commercial or joint venture agreement.  Throughout the Challenge, there are opportunities for participants to connect with investors, who at their own discretion could consider additional funding.  There is no prize or participation money for being a part of the Challenge.

 

Q: Does my company have to be based in Georgia to participate?

A: No.  While the two challenges are based in Georgia, you do not have to be based in Georgia to propose a solution.
